1911 porn

Hello. Well, seems to be some 1911 fans most everywhere so here's some pictures for those who like 'em.

A Series 70 .45 that's been modified when S&W revolver sights were the rage back in the '70s. Had some other work done over the years on it as well.

An early Kimber Classic that's had little done to it that shows.

A Norinco .45 after I'd done a few, little things at home.

Same gun with original slide, but different sights and a Wilson "drop in" wide grip safety and other minor changes.

An STI Longslide Trojan in 9mm.

And one in .45 ACP.

A Colt Nat'l Match with a few small changes along the way.

And a lightly worked over Colt LW Commander.

Where have the pictures gone?

I found the same thing in a a number of other "picture" posts. Does the administrative software delete attached images after a given time has passed? Disappointing in any event.

Welcome to Pistolsmith, Kilo. Have seen this before. I think such 'disappeared pix' were actually linked to Photobucket or similar. When the accounts were discontinued, the pix were dropped.

Stephen A. Camp and Austin Behlert died years ago. I think Behlert was quite old, but Camp died unexpectedly.

This site, being one of many, is a sideline for the owner(s) and they don't have the time for the preservation you have mentioned elsewhere. Such would be up to those who find joy in doing that sort of thing uncompensated.
