can np3 finish be removed

I've been debating getting blued gun with a very tired finish a make over. I'm considering either a hard chrome or NP3. I really like the appearance of HC but I like the properties of NP3.

I have heard NP3 has a semi-yellow color to it. Do any of you own a gun with NP3 and can post some pics of it for me to check out?

Thanks BHP, looks nice! I see you got the whole gun done in NP3. One of my concerns is that it would be a little slippery, how would you rate the finish yourself?

I suppose the finish is slippery, but that is why I had Novak's perform their matting on the grip surfaces. If one wasn't having those surfaces stippled, checkered, etc., he could also use grip tape to accomplish the same end. In my case, the durability far outweighed any other concerns regarding the finish. Nothing seems to bother it.
