I always lubricate my slide rails with molybdenum disulfide grease, otherwise known as moly grease.

Springfield used to import the Omega long slide; unique in it had two extractors (one per side) to accommodate different calibers with the change of a barrel. Mine is blue and in 10mm:  |

Great weapon and wonderful cartridge; have been hunting with a 10 for 2 decades now. If the truth were told; I'm sure S&W put pressure on the gun writers to hype the forty and pressure the flunkies in the FBI to go with it also. I'll bet even Caitlyn Jenner could handle the recoil. The lovers of this cartridge are having the last laugh; because everybody and their grandmother is coming out with a 10mm. |
