| Production Update on Frames/Slides/Parts
Machining, engineering, and design consultants, and a master gunsmith have given advice and counsel. We listened to competitors and law enforcement shooters. Designs and drawings have been reviewed. Measuring and analysis are complete, and metallurgical issues decided. Specifications are finalized. Fixtures are being built, tooling made or acquired and installed, and state of the art CNC mills, lathes, and EDM machines are being prepared for their first runs. Production of Deep River Customs frames, slides, and parts for the 1911 is entering the second phase, with prototypes expected Q3 2015. More details will be posted as our production progresses toward what will be the new standard in premium quality 1911 frames, slides, and parts. Made of American materials by American craftsmen in the Heart of North Carolina, USA. |

No, John Travis isn't working with us. Like to have him though. Hard core and a Hell of a gunsmith.
