I had a 640 Streetfighter that I let a friend talk me out of...mistake. The custom barrel with four hybraports tamed all loads, but especially the old 115 grain CorBons...it was like shooting a .22 magnum. The 158 grain CorBons still kicked hard, but straight back...kind of reminded me of a baby .454 Casull!
Dumb story, but I was once shooting hedge apples on the ground at about 30'. I shot them with the 158 grain bullets and it chopped them a little and rolled them, but the 115 grain bullet vaporized them! It was cool...green mist with chunks in it!
Jack Weigand is a pure craftsman and is fun to deal with. I want another of his guns someday.

I was just about to comment on your shooting experience and how you have quite a mean or sadistic streak in you.
I was then going to give you my 2 cents on how this type of discussion hurts shooter's and hunter's image in the general public.
Fortunately, I re-read your post and noticed you said hedge APPLES and not hedge HOGS (no joke, that's how I first read it)! Read like I first did!!!
I need new glasses or need to read more slowly!
