| Reloading precision rifle cartridges
I am going to start reloading rifle cartridges on a single stage press. I have two Dillon 550s, but want the slow deliberate sequence of loading on a single stage. Someone gave me a Lee that does not seem quite sturdy enough for case forming or full length resizing. Any suggestions? How about electronic scales? I have three beam balances which are fine for pistol cartridges, but I want something I can weigh out and segregate by weight classes bullets and cases. A balance beam takes too long for this. Prices seem to range from 30 to 600 bucks. preciate' any input. |

| Electronic Scale DS-750 Electronic Powder Scale 750 Grain Capacity I have been using this scale for 2 years without any problems. It is very accurate and checks out against higher priced electronic scales. The price is right also. Brad |

My buddy precision reloads and he uses electronic dispensing powder measures. Once set up, the device dispenses AND weights the charge. These are extremely accurate. One has a "trickle" feature that slows down as the charge gets close and trickles the last bit in to insure top accuracy. Electronic scales are the way to go, but remember that you can screw it up by not paying attention. It's easy to forget to not zero the scale with the pan on it. |
