I never see anything about the Ruger KM77VT,I was at the range and a guy there had one in .308 and using Federal Match ammo was consistantly shooting sub minute of angle groups at 100 yds!He told me the rifle was 100% box stock, and that for some reason the Rugers don't get the attention that they deserve, what about it are they good or did he have the exception to the rule?

See what it will shoot at 500 yards first. Then if it holds sub MOA groups you might get some attention.

If you have ever squeezed a factory ruger trigger you will know. Not to mention the bbls. Laughs...

I have one in 223, and plan on getting one in 220 Swift. Shoots pretty well, as does the one owned by a firend, also in 223. Two stage trigger isn't bad at all. Not as good as the Kreiger Milazzo on my AR, but better than most factory triggers(which are crap, usually). Barrel is good enough for 3/4inch groups all day long at 100 yds with prarie dog ammo. Hot barrel, cold barrel, whatever. For $500 and a bit, pretty good deal. Been a good sight better than some of the 700VS's I've seen recently. Some of those have flat out sucked. S/F...Ken M

Let me state this only my experience. I've owned three Ruger rifles. After free floating, trigger work, and pillar bedding these rifles, I've still not been pleased with the accuracy of these rifles. I've not owned one yet that has bettered the accuracy of my Remington Rifles. The do make a good looking rifle! Barrels seem to be their problem but I've been hearing a few comments lately that makes me think Ruger may working on the barrel issue.
