In the past, I fired about 2000 D&J .45acp 200gr. SWCs through my Kimber. I switched to a local small-time supplier because he is dirt cheap and his bullets are as accurate as any at IDPA distances. Nevertheless, the D&J bullets worked just fine. As to leading, everything leaves a bit of lead in my barrel. I just use the copper scrubbing pad rapped around a .38cal. brush(tight-in-bore) and 98% of the lead is removed in 20 seconds. Use it wet or dry, whatever is faster. That old trick puts all of the commercial "lead removers" to shame.Oh, I can't tell much differance between D&J and Laser-cast in my gun, but those that need precision like NRA bullseye might see accuracy differ.

What ever happened to D&J Bullets? My local reloading store has switched to Meisterbullet brand because they said they could no longer get the D&J. I found them to be made of a hard alloy, and sized at .452", which worked well for my guns. Anyone know where they went?
