I have got four old 32-20's. The first I picked up was a Colt Army Special, then it was a Smith & Wesson Hand Ejector, the a Colt Police Positive Special and then the crown jewel was a Colt Single Action from 1897. Never had the opportunity to fire any of them.

I killed my first Deer with a Model 55 Winchester 32-20 when I was 9 years old hunting with my Grandpa. He's dead and I have no idea where that rifle went. I did hear that they traded a bunch of guns for a vacuum cleaner though back in t he 60's when I was vacationing with Uncle Sam. So one day at work my good friend said come out to the truck I want to show you something, and I'll be damned if it wasn't a beautiful model 55 32-20. He said a guy owed him $700 and he took the gun because the guy was broke. I begged and whined trying to buy that rifle and he finally got to where he wouldn't talk to me about it. When I retired a couple years later the guys at work gave it to me as a gift. That was probably the nicest thing that anyone ever did for me, and it's a fine rifle. So about a 32-20 revolver. Well, since I had that rifle and started making piles of lead bullets and loaded cartridges, I decided I need a revolver to go with the rifle. Got a real nice old Smith hand ejector that's fun to shoot.
