Instead of TLA #5, you should have put this in the title: "TEXAS LONGHORN ARMS IMPROVED NUMBER FIVE" I had forgotten this. Still have a magazine with an article somewhere but here's a convenient link: 9. THE TEXAS LONGHORN ARMS IMPROVED NUMBER FIVE | Sixguns.com forums So what is the story on your pic? |

My son purchased it from Stephen Webb and a frame forging including a parts kit. Nearly enough parts to assemble the gun. He getting Alan Harton to complete the gun. In the stuff from Bill Grover this one was already serial numbered as a gun. Matt is building it into a usable piece to handgun hunt with. This one was originaly going to be a Improved number 5 express. Sorry about the title. I was in a hurry when I posted it. reflex264

Sounds like an impressive project. If it turns out well, your son will have really neat gun. Btw, you can hit the red bordered triangle in lower left corner and ask a mod to correct your title. May take a few days.
