| Scope advice!
I have a Ruger MKII that I've owned for quite a few years, and have been generally satisfied with it. It is about 20 years old, but in excellent condition. I have always used it just for sport target shooting. It has the stock sights, but I am curious about trying a scope on it. I could sure like some advice from "those who know", as to what the best reasonably priced scope would be. Most of my shooting is done at 25 or 50 feet. I realize that you generally "get what you pay for", but I'm not looking for a top of the line competition scope; just one that is good for "sport type" target shooting. Even an older used scope would do. What types are reasonably good, and what types are junk? |

Ii is a MKII, and there are no threaded holes on the barrel except for those that accept the stock open sights.
