I was wondering if anyone on this forum had any information on the Ruger P-90/97... accuracy, performance, reliability, ect. I am learning to work on these pistols (armorer); nobody seems to have any information about these pistols. They have to be durable; working on them, I don't think I've EVER seen slides as thick and hard as the stainless steel in the slides on these two pistols. They are definitely a unique firearm, detail stripping unlike anything I've seen. Information and personal experiences,(as well as any knowledge of accessories), would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...

Have one of the 97's. Great gun, especialy for the $$$. It is the only gun in my safe with no mods to make it better (but I am looking for night sights). Very accurate, never failed in any way.

Owned a P90 .45. Very accurate and no problems whatsoever. I added hogue grips in place of the plastic ones as well as Meprolight nite sights.

It is not at all unusual for this pistol to shoot match grade acuracy. It is also the duty weapon for Massad Ayoob's dept. He has spoken highly of this pistol.

I espicailly liked the double action pull due to its lightened pull, as oppossed to my 5906 S&W.
