building an american made FAL
hey everyone, im looking for a good .308 semi auto rifle and after all my researching i find that my best idea would be to custom build my own FAL using american parts... DSA offers alot of those parts, i was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on this... its going to be build into a semi auto sniper rifle

This is a subject I know quite alot about. The FAL is my favorit battle rifle, I've built a few for myself and others. You'd have to dump a bunch of cash on it thought to bring it anywhere close to sniper grade. That is just not the FALs niche in life. Go to the falfiles for more info.

I think DSA actually makes "sniper" FALs. I believe one of them is called the Greywolf--it has the heavy free floated barrel and PSG-1 style grip, all that jazz. Never heard anything on their accuracy though.
