Not a Browning, not a Stevens; but a Savage, Model is probably a 720; made sometime between 1930 - 1946 (based on info posted on another gun related forum). I had the choice between this 16 gauge or a 12 gauge; the 12 was marked to indicate it was a Browning authorized gun but this 16 was in a lot better shape.
