870 flashlight forend suggestions for wood stock?

I have an 870 with wood stocks. I love the wood stock and do not want to change to a synthetic one. However, I want to add a flashlight attachment. Any suggestions as to the best way to add this feature but keep the wood stock and forend? Any pictures appreciated.

I know that there are adapters available to use a gun mounted light such as the M3 on a shotgun. I don't know if they mount on the barrel or the magazine tube or either one. You may look into something like this. I believe streamlight makes the adapters, but i'm not sure.

Unless there is something new on the market that I don't know about, the Sure Fire forend/flashlight combo is the way to go (and it's not available in wood).

Wood!

Hi Dave,
Yeah, but I really want to stick with wood! I would think there's SOMETHING out there!

87-51, I'll look into Streamlight.

Hoser, it seems to me that I saw a barrel-clamp model that
held a 6p Sure-Fire.....will try and find it.

thanks

Thanks M. Hall,
I just love the wood model and would hate to toss it and put on synthetic.

Blue 1911's
Blue Revolvers
And wood on shotguns.

I'm funny and old fashioned!

Search for "Light Mount" on Brownells.com. There are a lot of good options there. I particularly like the Lite Mount Technologies one. I am thinking about using it with a New Inova T3.

Good Luck.

That's the one! Thanks-I didn't even have to dig....

I know what you mean Hoser-if it's not wood, ivory or steel,
then it had best be leather!
