firming pin locator pins break on 226 9mm

I notice the problem by the occurance of light primer strikes - twice in 25,000 rounds I had to replace the pins - both the inner and outer roll pins break but at different points - is there any way to fix this so that it does not happen again - does it indicate a specific problem with my 226? I have not seen this with the 220 or 225 but the round counts are not as high.

Thanks.
Jim

Replace the pins every 10K rounds? It takes about 30 seconds IIRC.
