Bought a Sig Sauer 1911 / 22

Two weeks ago I didn't even know this gun existed.

I Bought a Sig Sauer 1911 / 22

I took it to the range yesterday and put 100 rounds through it.

Not one problem.

It's sights were way off for me.

But Sig included everything I needed to change the front sight.

It's a really fun gun to shoot.

It s very accurate now.

Hey guys, I found out about this pistol about 1.5 months ago. I've seen and held it...it has the feel of a 1911. I'm anxious to shoot one....everywhere I go they sell out as soon as they come in. My LGS just told me Sig is backordered on this one....I just bought a Ruger MK III 22/45 for target shooting, but now I'm looking at this one.

Where was the pistol shooting, and what did you need to do to correct the problem ? ?

I've got the GSG (German Sport Guns) 1911 in .22; pretty sure they are making these Sig branded ones as well. Mine has been pretty much flawless through hundreds of hi velocity round from several companies.

No reason to expect any different from your new purchase, Don.

@ one eye joe

It was shooting Low left.

I moved the rear sight a little right.

It comes with 3 front sights - I took the one on it off and tried each of the other two until I was right on.

I don't remember which ight I left on there.

Very easy to do.

Sig included every thing I needed to do the sight change.

Interesting. I assume that the rear sight was drift adjustable, and the front blades were of varying heights. Glad it worked out for you. It's a great lookin' pistol......

Your right

"rear sight was drift adjustable, and the front blades were of varying heights. "

And included the tools needed & the extra front sights to do the job
