It's been a long time ago since I owned a S&W product. Last one I owned was back in 1992. I bought a 915. I shot it about 250rds and the dang barrel looked like a shotgun barrel. Accuracy sucked. Called S&W and they said they would replace the barrel but would charge me for it. Keep in mind the pistol was less than a month old! Needless to say it was SOLD and I have not bought from S&W again.
Has S&W changed their ethics? How about quality today with S&W products? Curious.
All feedback is appreciated.

I have used their service department several times in the last six years. I was never charged, and it was done right the first time. They have a lifetime service policy, even if you`re not the original owner.

S&W quality seems to have improved since the British plumbers sold it back to Americans.
There was a lot of bobbles being made when the Bangor Punta/Lear Siegler/Tompkins boobs were hanging around Springfield, Mass.
