Possible help needed here. I noticed on the SW 1066 I purchased last weekend that the muzzle area of the gun is scuffed. Like the gun was dropped hard on the ground muzzle first. Since this was a LEO confiscated gun, possbile "drop it and reach for the sky" damage.
Anyway, my questions, is it possible that this scuffing right in the end of the muzzle, with a slight scuff into the bore, cause inaccuracy problems.
Can I get this muzzle crowned to fix this problem? Any suggestions ....

It's possible that the crown is damaged. If you're not sure, take it to a gunsmith for inspection. Having it repaired shoudn't be very expensive.
