S&W 357 N-Frame.......

I have noticed a slight noise with my .357 when I rock it back and forth. Thinking it might be an internal broken part, I removed the side plate and found the noise is being generated from the trigger stop rod location. Is that normal or do I have a problem in the making. Thanks

It means the gun is dry of lubricant.
This is one area a little good grease will work well. It'll lubricate it, prevent the rattle, and won't dry up or run out.
