I know that this probably defeats the purpose of the WWII model, but I can't help myself and I want to change my new pistol. I'm thinking about installing a Kings #204 grip safety, and a round original style commander hammer. Any thoughts or suggestions. I think that the Kings safety will look a little more time period correct than a modern beavertail. Also, what about some night sights that won't change the look too much? Your thoughts, ideas and advice are appreciated! *H

I bought a SA WWII with the 1* from Ted Yost. The pistol runs and runs. It's wonderful. I had the gold inlaid sight. Ted is the true Yoda master with the ultimate in patience. I keep changing my mind. He added stippling to the front strap and main spring housing. It really has a nice retro look with now hammer bite. check out www.yost-bonitz.com I will be getting more work from him. |

You might want to look into a old Commander style grip safety to make it fit the gun a bit more.
