| XD-45 Availability  A good friend of mine has had an XD-45 Tactical Bi-tone on order for 3 months now. Springfield said they were shipping that model at the end of September and the end of October. Anyone know anything about availability? |

In September Springfield told me the 5" Tactical XD .45 would ship at the end of September and again in late Ocyober. Still no gun! Here is the latest: "We are currently shipping the 4” Bi-Tone XD .45 ACP pistols. The 5” Bi-Tones should start shipping by January." |

My friend called Springfield this week about the .45 bi-tone tactical he has ordered. At least the lady was honest, he may not get the gun until March. Why do manufacturers flood the media with advertising before they can deliver merchandise in meaningful quantities. If they think it will cause me to crave an XD, the oposite has happened. Springfield and their Croatian partners can keep'em.

Seems like they are shipping a few of the 5" Tactical bi-tone XD's these days; as we have one on display; however, I'm not sure exactly how many we have in stock~? |
