| EMP vs. STI Rogue
I'm trying to decide between these two. Any thought on their relative merits? I have yet to actually handle either of them.

I don't have the STI, but I have an EMP I I love the damn thing. It is fitted from the factory with a short match barrel - if there really is such a thing - and it shoots as accurately as any 9mm I have seen, regardless of barrel length. Shooting it side by side with my Glock 26, the gun runs faster, and I found it to recoil less. It has slim stocks from the factory, with Novak (or Novak-Style) night sights, and a fully ramped barrel - so it should last forever. The gun carries great and disappears in decent holsters, and I still get 10 rounds without a reload. It really is a well done package, and it locks up like a little vault. Except for the ambi thumb safety, I can't complain about the EMP. It is worth the money. Regards - |

Thanks, Chris. Seems like there is pretty near universal praise for the EMP. The STI may be a great gun, too, but apparently so few people have one that I can't get any feedback on it. I guess the safer bet is to go for the EMP.
