Stainless vs carbon steel

Hi there,

I am awaiting delivery of a stainless receiver and carbon slide from Caspian.
Not sure how that will work out.
Stainless steel is MUCH harder than carbon steel.
Carbon steel is relatively soft in comparison.
Caspian bonds tungsten carbide to their stainless frames, so as to prevent galling of the stainless against other metals.
We'll see how it works out!
