| Rear slide cuts/serrations
This may actually be a more general topic but I'm building my first STI right now with the help of a local pistolsmith. It's probably more accurate to say he's fixing what I screw up. But anyway...I've finally gotten my major components together and was looking for ideas on rear slide serrations/cuts. Being this may be the only hotrod 1911 style pistol I'll ever own (If the wife has her way), I really want to make it something special. So I'm looking for ideas on really wild looking serrations for the rear of the slide. Something functional so I can actually grip the slide to clear stoppages or feed the beast. But I also want it to be something cool. Any photos of the wildest cuts you've seen after of the ejection port would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gary P.S. It's probably worth mentioning this will be my Limited Division pistol for USPSA. Thanks again. |

Go to: www.sviguns.com then go to Gun Builder and look at the slide serrations SVI offers. It should give you some ideas. |
