Little Davey .....There's a bunch of Us on Pistolsmith that can equal or surpass any thing Brian Enos or You have designed. Dane Burns designed and markets the best HAMMER, SEAR,and DISCONNECTOR there is. BUT ....the deal is....What can You Do? I can't run on what Brian Enos can do , or what Dane Burns can do. You can't either. I survive on what Wild Bill Caldwell can do and that's just the way the world is.

Little David....What's DIZZY is the way some of You people on Mako Mazo Kneel at Brian's feet and worship at His alter of zen.

Thank's,
Bill Caldwell

Oh, and PM inbound...

Now, back the to topic...

For the last time. Duffy1 asked questions about cartridge OAL in regards to a new SV because of FTF problems he had with his gun. I read the posts discussing OAL and then I offer, in addition to the other germaine posts, another suggestion that the Duffy1 might consider on his quest for 100% feeding. In doing so, somehow, I offened you, Bill, because I mention advice from someone you don't obviously care for.

Obviously I didn't know the depth of the mistake I was making.

Then, reluctantly in response, I add that the person referenced in my original post worked for the manufacturer of Duffy1's gun, shot them competitively for years and designed a magazine follower for such a gun made by SV. This is the same advice, in addition to adjusting OAL, that enabled me to feed my SV 40 S&W 100% reliably. What an idiot I am for posting it. I apologize.

If I have offended anyone by failing to mention John Moses Browning, Jim Clark Sr., Jim Clark Jr., Sandy Strayer, Chip McComick, Dane Burns, Bill Wilson, Virgil Tripp, Bob Londrigan, Bevin Grams, Benny Hill, Alex Hamilton, Rusty Kidd, Tony Kidd, George Smith, George Huning, Matt McLearn, Joel Peters, Teddy Yost, anyone else in the APG, anyone else who's handled a 1911 (and their variants), anyone who's seen a 1911 in print ads, TV or the movies (whether they knew it or not) - I apologize.

WHINE

BIGDAVE,
That's got to be the LONGEST, MOST PITIFUL WHINE I've ever heard. One of those "I soaked My pillow all the way thru with tears last nite", WHINES. You havein' a zen moment, BIG DAVE?

It's HELL out here in the west, ain't it Big Dave?(West Monroe Louisiana, that is) Over here You can't fire off a smart A$$ shot....Then run to Your MOD buddy and get the thread locked to stop any replies.

Sendin' You a P M when I get time.

Thanks,
Bill Caldwell

Will someone please tell me where the lever is that drops a 10 ton weight on my head like in the old Looney Tunes cartoons? Where?!?!?!

Bill -

I didn't go running to Mr. Berryhill or any other moderator on this forum. If you have issues with his post, take those up with him directly. They were not solicited by me in any way.

Whining? If that's how you wish to look at it, fine - obviously I can't stop you. You have issues with my reference to Brian Enos, his advice, his web forum and his spiritual practices - all of which have zero to do with me so please take those up with him.

If the quotes that I used to start my previous two posts got under your skin (and clearly they did), I can't say it wasn't unintentional. You, unknowningly, found me in a bit of a mood and I love being a smarta$$. Was that the proper thing to do when it is so easy for us to hide behind monitors and keyboards? Probably not. But, here's a deal - I'll stop making wise cracks if you stick to the topic at hand - getting Duffy1's SV to feed 100%.

Dave
