PPK/S Problem please help

I have a new S&W PPK/S, I have had it for about 11 months, the other day I put 200 rounds threw it without a problem. Went home cleaned, reassembled, started racking the slide to distribute lube and noticed the slide is catching after about a quarter of an inch movement. The catch totally locks up the gun, the slide will not go back any farther. You have to let the slide go back forward and then it will come back all the way. It only does this maybe once out of every 10 times you rack the slide. It has never done this before. I have about 300 rounds threw the gun. Any ideas? I can't figure it out.

Thanks, Mike.

Don't know if it makes any difference - but did you try reversing the recoil spring?

Check the disconnector. When slide is full back, "disconnector" is approx 1/4" from breechface. It sounds like it hangs there.
