Probably not. I had a PP in .22 LR once. It was a fun pistol to play with and accurate except for the first shot fired double action. It had a horrid DA trigger. The SA trigger was o.k. but there are plenty of pistols with better triggers at a far less price. The sights are small, fixed and not useful for small game hunting. It was several years ago, but the dealer was asking about $500 for it. I traded another firearm for it on a whim. I don't think I would have shelled out cash for it.
It might make sense if you had a PP, PPK or PPK/s in a centerfire caliber and you wanted a pistol identical in function for a low-cost practice alternative.
Look at the Walther P22. It costs less than $300.

PPKs 22lr are a rare item. But they can be found. See mine here.
25 yd target here.

Also they are plenty accurate for small game if your shooting rabbits or squirrels at 25 yds or less.
They are pricey though there a few on gunsamerica if you search. But if you really want to hunt you can't beat Ruger MKII Target models for price or accuracy. For several hundred more you can pick up a Smith & Wesson model 41 in a 7inch or 5.5inch barrel. Plenty good enough to hunt with on either of these.

I would love to have those.
I inherited my 1968 Genman PPK chambered in .22LR. It's fun to play with and pretty accurate for its size.
DA trigger is kinda heavy but you can get used to it.
