| P1 front sight blades
I'm trying to help a friend who just bought a refurbished P1. His pistol is euipped with a #3 front sight blade and it hits pretty low. Anyone know a source for the various height front sight blades? I checked the Numrich/Gun Parts Corp. catalogue but didn't spot them. Any info on how many different heights are offered, how much each sight change the point of impact and which direction the number system goes? (If I install a #4, which direction would it move the point of impact?) |

Your best bet will be the Walther Parts house: http://www.carlwalther.com/page2.htm You'll probably have to contact them about which height. "I think" (note the qualifier) that the higher the number the taller the sight, and the lower the gun will shoot. NOTE: The Walther P-38 and the P1 are the same gun, just with different markings. All parts, including sights interchange. |
