| Frame for a Pre WWII Colt Service Ace
A friend of mine has a pre WW II Colt Service Ace complete upper. He would like to put together a complete frame to make it a shooter. We tried putting it on a parts gun at the local gunshop with a Caspian frame. The frame was too narrow in the area where the lower barrel lugs would fit. It works on a Colt frame. We were looking at an Essex frame from Brownells as a base for a buildup, anyone know if this would work? Any other suggestions would be welcome.

| Got it to work
We were able to get things to fit on a Springfield frame. Thanks for all the help.
